Dr. Mark Bruyn


Dr. Bruyn has more than 30 years of experience. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, cum laude, and completed his surgical residency at Harris County Podiatric Surgical Program in Houston. He also holds an associate degree in Medical Technology and Electron Microscopy as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He held a clinical faculty position at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston for greater than ten years. Dr. Bruyn’s sub-specialty is reconstructive pediatric and adult flatfoot surgery on which he has lectured and published numerous articles. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Bruyn has held the position of President of Beaumont Surgical Affiliates Physician Group. Currently, Dr. Bruyn is on active staff at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital and Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital, and Medical Center of Southeast Texas Victory Campus.

Dr. Bruyn was recently awarded “Physician of the Year 2018” for the Medical Center of Southeast Texas Beaumont Campus. This award is voted on by hospital staff.
